This site will list all scholarships available through Clark High School or others that I am aware of that are legitimate scholarships to apply for. Some will require you to stop by for an application while others will hyperlink you to the web site to complete the form. Also listed will be other sites to go to for information and help during your junior and senior year.

|Dakota Corps Scholarship Program|
Eligible students must have graduated from a SD high school with a GPA of 2.8 or higher, have an ACT composite score of 24 or higher, agree in writing to stay in SD and work in a critical need occupation after graduation from college for as many years as the scholarship was received, and attend a participating SD college (this scholarship becomes a loan, if any of the requirements are not fulfilled.) A $500 scholarship will be awarded to a student who intends to continue in an office-related business program. The state winner will go on to compete for a national scholarship of $1000. See application for additional requirements. This can also be students already in college.

There are three scholarships available. Two $500 Codington-Clark Electric Scholarships and one Codington-Clark Electric / CoBank Scholarship in the amount of $1,000. The scholarships must be used for educational costs, and the student must enter college in the fall of the school year for which the scholarship is given. Checks will be made payable to the student, and will be distributed by Codington-Clark Electric. Codington-Clark Electric will pay scholarships after the completion of the first semester.
Who is eligible to receive the scholarship?
Dependent children of member-system consumers are eligible. The applicant must also be a U.S. citizen. The applicant must be a student who is planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited, two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school located in South Dakota.

The annual Scott Mecham BBB Student of Integrity Awards program is sponsored by the Foundation of the Better Business Bureau. $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to six students who reside in the geographic area served by the BBB. These scholarships were established to honor the memory of Mr. Mecham who served as the BBB president from 1991 until January 2006, when he died unexpectedly.
This award will recognize students that personify the values, leadership and integrity exemplified by Scott Mecham.
One $600.00 scholarship will be awarded to graduating seniors from each of the nineteen school districts serving various segments of the ITC Service Area. |James Valley Telecommunications Scholarship |
Applicant must be a high school senior who will be graduating in the Spring of 2014 and whose parents/legal guardian are members of James Valley Telecommunications. |L.S. (Punky) Terrill Agriculture Scholarship|
New Scholarship in 2010-2011
This scholarship has been made possible by the Terrill Family in memory of L.S. (Punky) Terrill. Punky was a very avid farmer and member of the Clark community. The scholarship is $500.00 and is to used towards tuition for a student pursuing a career at a college or vocational school in the agriculture industry. A Clark High School graduating boy or girl will receive this scholarship. The only other requireemnt is a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

New Scholarship 2011-2012
This scholarship has been established in memory of Lee Schlagel. Lee, son of Terry and Deb Schlagel, was an outstanding athlete at Clark High School. He died of an asthma attack at the age of 25. This scholarship is open to Clark senior athletes.

|Jeff Worth/Rick Worth Memorial Scholarship|
The Jeff Worth/Rick Worth Memorial Scholarship Fund is offering a two hundred and fifty dollar ($250) Scholarship to be used towards tuition and paid in two installments ($125 for each semester) to a graduating senior boy or girl from Clark High School. The qualified student must be pursuing a career at the vocational or college level in South Dakota. Financial need will be a factor in determining the recipient along with scholastic abilities. The scholarship is given in memory of a fellow student of Clark High School and his father, a long time Clark Banker.

|County Commissioner Scholarship|
Two $1000 scholarship will be awarded to child or grandchild of a county employee. The recipient will be at least a second year, registered full-time student in a South Dakota university, college (public and private), or vocational/technical certification program.
